The American College of Osteopathic Pediatrics forcefully rejects the unilateral changes in vaccine recommendations published yesterday by the CDC. The changes are neither evidence-based, nor scientific. The change to the vaccine schedule will harm patients, sow confusion, and burden an already stressed healthcare delivery system. Most importantly, these changes will cause real harm, including the death of children living in the United States.
